If you’ve been following me and my pals over at CatBear for a bit you’ll know we’ve been thinking about adding some new stuff to our library o’ content. Well we did that in the most CatBear way possible and essentially threw a nuke at everything we had, then made a whole new podcast.
We wanted to focus our efforts into a making a new brand that was entertaining, useful and relatable. So we had a couple of meetings, threw out a bunch of ideas and then consequently threw away a bunch of ideas. In the end we landed on something that we felt would give us a clear mission but also a lot of room for growth as we put more time into the project. What we’ve created for you is “Why Don’t We Know This?”
WDWKT? is essentially the result of three grown men that embarrassingly enough didn’t know what is probably common knowledge to just about anyone that graduated high school. The idea actually came to our host Kelly when he was trying to help finish 4th grade homework for his son. Let me tell you, watching Kelly try to quickly remember grade-school math all while pretending like he knew what he was talking about was more than just funny. It was inspiring.
After that lightbulb moment we were convinced there must be more of us regular joes and janes who need a refresher on some of these not-so-practiced subjects. WDWKT? hopes to be that refresher. We’ll cover topics like math, art, science, history and whatever else we probably should have already learned when we were younger. And we hope you all will listen in, enjoy and learn something.
We’d love for you to check it out at your destination of choice:
